Tech Tools For the Modern Musician

In today's Modern Music Industry it is extremely important to be a great instrumentalist, but it is also just as important for the developing musician to understand and comprehend Music Technology. In the last decade, modern music technology has become the best tool for the independent musician. With very minimal equipment, we can now create great sounding recordings and compositions without the need to pay top dollar in a multi-million dollar studio. 

Tech Tools For the Modern Musician is taught by Andrew Conn. Students have an opportunity to learn about and use the following Programs and DAW's (Digital Audio Workstations): Logic, Pro-Tools, Digital Performer, Garage Band and Finale (scoring and arranging). Andrew Conn has a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, has been independently producing music for himself and others for the last 5 years, and is currently very involved in the production for many artists in the Sacramento area. He has a wealthy amount of knowledge to share in various writing styles,but specializes in teaching in the following genres: Rock, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, and Hip-Hop.
