School Of Voice
Shanda Daranouvong (SDaranouvong@youngartistsconservatory.org) has been studying theatre and music since the age of six. She has received her Bachelor's degree from Sacramento State University and was awarded the "Student Director of the Year" in 2006 for her work on "The Diary of Adam and Eve." Some of her most memorable stage credits include; Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls," Pogo in "Symphony of Rats," and Lady Thiang in "The King and I." She has also studied music and voice and was an honored member of State Honor Choir (2000) and Regional Honor Choir (1998-2000). “I am motivated to be a teacher of the arts because I want to preserve the art itself. I cannot imagine my life today without the music and theatre programs I was blessed to have in school. Through my teachers, I learned performing was my passion in life. I want to give that passion back to my students and encourage them to be dedicated artists throughout their lives.”
Jacqueline Adams Crockett (JCrockett@youngartistsconservatory.org) comes to the Conservatory with over 30 years of performance experience, with classical training in piano and voice. She studied vocal performance at Cal State East Bay and has performed throughout the United States, with a focus on the Bay Area since 1985. Mrs. Adams-Crockett taught general music at elementary schools in Walnut Creek and Concord until 1995, and has continued private vocal instruction on a part time basis, while directing music and dramatic arts programs at several local churches. A versatile artist, her repertoire includes Puccini and Led Zeppelin, and she loves to share that wide range of music with her students.

Renee Oakes (ROakes@youngartistsconservatory.org) Renee Oakes is a leading North Bay actress, Musical Director, and professional soprano. She recently sang on a project for Disney and is recording original works by Dave Brubeck with the Grammy-nominated Pacific Mozart Ensemble
