Conservatory Instruction

Thank you for visiting our music school!  The conservatory was established in 2005 to provide families and growing musicians with the opportunity to pursue a FULL music education.  Conservatory students enjoy private lessons with professional passionate instructors, attend theory classes, band rehearsals, improvisation clinics, specialized ensembles, and perform in high-energy unique concerts.  Recitals, master classes, open studios, competitions, and objective growth plan help to guide students toward fluent and sensitive musicianship.

Conservatory instruction means that in choosing to study music with us you have determined on a course of learning that will stretch you both musically and personally.  Conservatory students are given the highest quality technical instruction influenced by music pedagogues throughout history. Beyond the skills and tools, you will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the benefit of all the opportunities this conservatory can offer.  We will guide in you effective practice techniques, teach you to be comfortable and dynamic performers, show you how to sing or play in an ensemble, help you to compose your own music, and most importantly show you how to love your music!

We understand that learning to play an instrument or sing with beauty and execution is a lifelong pursuit.  Your path and achievements will be YOUR OWN as well as the satisfaction you receive from hearing the result of your commitment to our inspiration.  Your instructors have experienced what it means to feel the satisfaction of producing beautiful music. Remember, the artist you can be is the one inside you! We’re just here to show that young artist how to come outdoors and play.

A conservatory instruction refers to systematic and pedagogic approach to a full service education which is customized to meet individual student needs.

Pedagogic instruction refers to the correct use of teaching strategies to achieve the goal of mastery in the pupil.

Full Service education provides opportunity for students to participate in multiple musical applications including: theory, master classes, ensembles, performances, etc.

Customized: Teachers do not simply follow a pre-printed method instruction book.  Rather a "customized” approach is preferred
