Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) of Vacaville CA, is a not for profit after school music education and performing arts collaborative. We offer families who are serious about unlocking their children’s musical potential an immersive program that generates confident and secure musicianship.
Our pre-college CORE-Arts division is an comprehensive program that integrates private lessons with courses in musicianship, music appreciation, electives, ensembles and collaborative group playing, performances, master-classes, assessments and a curriculum that is tailored to address the individual needs of the student.
Our Teaching Artists are highly relational classically trained artists who possess the education and expertise necessary to motivate practice and develop beginners, transfer students, and advance pre-professional musicians. YACM Teaching Artists are invited as program collaborators who wish to utilize YACM facilities, program structure, and marketing reach as Solano’s foremost arts education organization.
YACM Teaching Artists are invited to fulfill YACM lesson availability needs, set their own rate of pay (within market norms) and teach at the Vacaville facility. Teaching Artists rent their studio for $5.00 per half hour of registered students. No minimum number of students are guaranteed. All lessons provided at YACM are those for YACM enrolled students. All Teaching Artists must provide a clear Live Scan at their own expense.
If you are a classically trained pianist or vocalist interested in collaborating with YACM and transforming young lives, please send your resume’ and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
