Guitar Beginner Ages 9 - 11

Ages 9 - 11 | Min Class 3: Max Class 8 | $192 Tuition, $25 Registration In Beginning Guitar Class, we will discover the basic elements of playing music using the 6 string guitar. Students will learn to play single note melodies and to strum simple rhythms on the Guitar and accompany their voices with songs. Learning to keep their guitars in tune will be taught and students should have a functional guitar (1/2 or 3/4 sizes are ok) not a toy. Students will be encouraged to play and practice what they have learned and will realize how fun and enjoyable playing the guitar is when they do this on their own. Additional visual hand-out material will be provided to the students to help them remember what they have learned. Finally, students will perform a song together with the other students in class in a final performance at the end of the course.
