Suzanne Perry Lorente has been a musician and teacher in the Bay Area for the last five decades. She has a Music Degree from San Jose State University.
She has experience in performance and has a rich understanding and knowledge of many musical instruments of which she has made piano, guitar, French horn and voice her top priorities.
In 2009 she moved with her husband to Dixon from the San Jose area to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
In 2010, Suzanne produced and finished her second CD, “Rivers of Living Waters.”
Her love for piano came from her mother, who was a concert pianist. The family’s love of music led Suzanne toward the development of a musical legacy, singing and playing music with her Taylor 12 string guitar for family and then, as a professional entertainer.
"Understanding of music comes from learning something new every day," Mr Lorente says. "One must being willing to accept correction, and keeping your mind and heart open to hearing the perfect sounds of beautiful melodies and harmonies that make music."
Ms. Lorente tailors her lessons around the personalities of her students, helping them to move at their own pace, learning the details of music and watching them enjoy the progression of their new found talent.
