Craig Harless is a Vacaville native. He has been playing music since age 6, when his grandfather taught him how to play "Bye-bye Blackbird" on his organ.
His formal studies began in elementary school, where he excelled on the trumpet. By high school he had also learned drums, percussion, and french horn.
Mr. Harless played in the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band at Will C. Wood High School. At the age of 16 he began playing the guitar, largely influenced by classic Rock 'n Roll, and the Blues.
Mr. Harless became a regular in the Solano County blues scene at the young age of 21, while studying music, and receiving an Associate’s Degree in Music from Solano Community College.
After a few years of performing with numerous rock and blues projects, Mr. Harless returned to school and received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Sacramento State University.
Mr Harless has been playing and teaching guitar and bass for 20 years.
