Althea began violin and piano lessons from a young age. As a teen, she taught herself how to play the guitar and bass guitar. During this time, her friends and family discovered that she had a talent in singing and she started to sing and write her own songs. She joined the Napa Valley Youth Symphony and played at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. In 2012 the orchestra toured Prague, Salzburg and Czech Republic. Althea attended a music and missions program in Australia in 2015 where she recorded and wrote songs with fellow musicians from all over the world. Althea taught children 1-12 years of age music appreciation, guitar, ukulele and hand drums with Music Together in Benicia, CA. She graduated with a Bachelors of Music Degree from William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA and is excited to teach children the joy that she has found in music.
