SOLANO YOUTH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Solano Youth Chamber Orchestra is Solano County’s only professionally directed community youth orchestra. We invite string, woodwind, brass and percussion players with sufficient skill to audition for chair placement. Now entering our 7th year, Solano Youth Chamber Orchestra offers professional orchestra training and performance opportunities throughout the region.
Auditions
Use the interest form to contact us for your placement audition. You will be asked to play a 2 octave scale of your choice, perform a short 3 minute or less solo, and sight-read a short excerpt from an orchestral selection.

In conjunction with the launch of our PRO-Arts Program, this symphony is the next definitive step in advancing the musical development of youth throughout the region. Committed to professional repertoire, members who wish to audition will commit to a full year of professional orchestra training and concerts.
