Mr. Reyes teaches all styles of acoustic and electric guitar, (classical, folk, country, rock, blues, jazz). He also teaches the piano, saxophone, ukulele, accordion, Music Theory and Musicianship classes.
Mr. Reyes holds a B.A. degree in Music Education from CSU Dominguez Hills and has taught Elementary, Junior High and High School students in Northern and Southern California as a classroom and private instrumental music teacher.
He has served as a Concert/Jazz/ Stage/Marching Band Director, Music Department Head and Performing Arts Coordinator. Mr. Reyes has the distinction of being nominated three times as a “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”
As a teacher with the Young Artists Conservatory of Music, Mr. Reyes seeks to inspire his students with a love for the joy and beauty of music, and to instill the satisfaction that comes with the accomplishment of learning to master a musical instrument.
